Human Trafficking Strategy Implementation Group

Overview

As well as overseeing the implementation of the Human Trafficking and Exploitation Strategy, the group:

  • ensures that a human rights approach is taken
  • ensures that victims' voices and views are appropriately reflected
  • draws together the work of the 4 Action Area Groups
  • identifies any overlaps and potential for joint work
  • addresses any barriers to implementation

The Strategy Implementation Group has specific responsibility for:

  • communications and awareness raising
  • identifying and sharing good practice
  • the overview of local structures for implementation
  • developing appropriate training and materials
