Information requested

Information on how schools across all local authorities in Scotland share best practice across their educational departments (including schools and staff).

  1. Which Local Authorities use GLOW.

  2. Which Local Authorities publish internal newsletters that are sent out between schools, and if so who is the editor of these publications (plus appropriate contact details).

  3. Which Local Authorities have information sharing events for schools, and if so when do these events take place and who organises the events (plus appropriate contact details).

  4. What other means does each Local Authority use to share information/ best practice between schools/their staff.

Response

While our aim is to provide information wherever possible, in this instance Education Scotland does not hold or collate the information you requested from local authorities.

This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that Education Scotland does not have the information you requested.

To assist you further with your request, you may find it helpful to contact each local authority who may be able to provide you with the details you require. The following link will take you to a list of all 32 Scottish local authorities which may be of use.

Please note that all 32 local authorities have signed up for GLOW and use it for a variety of different learning approaches.
