Information requested

1. The number of PCs that are in use in your organisation,

2. The number of PCs that are running Windows XP,

3. The number of PCs that are running an older operating system than XP (i.e. 2000, 98)

4. If your organisation has a planned date for the total phase out of Windows XP?

Response

1. There are 11,667 PCs in use in the Scottish Government

2. There are no PCs running Windows XP in the Scottish Government

3. There are no PCs running an older operating system than Windows XP in the Scottish Government

4. All PCs that had Windows XP operating system were upgraded to Windows 7 or higher in 2012.
