Information requested

'Can you confirm whether Lord Hardie receives extra payment? Also can you confirm how many staff the tram inquiry employs and are Lord Hardie's earnings accounted for within the staffing cost section in the FoI response?'

I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested.

The answer to your question is in two parts:

a) Yes we can confirm Lord Hardie's earnings are accounted for within the staffing cost section in the previous FoI response.

b) The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for in respect of whether Lord Hardie receives extra payment or the number of staff the tram inquiry employs. However, we can confirm that we do have salary details for 9 members of staff. The Tram Inquiry, nevertheless are at liberty to employ staff from other sources.
