Information requested

1. Which twitter accounts either

a. operated by the Scottish administration

b. used in any official capacity by the administration

c. used in anyway for administration purposes (such as broadcasting weather alerts or traffic alerts or similar information from government ministers)

are currently blocking or muting my twitter account: @ScotPolitik

2. What is the total number of such blocks AND separately the number of such mutes and how many accounts does this involve in each of the above categories.

3. What process is there to appeal such decision or otherwise to ensure vital public information is available to those who have been maliciously blocked by the SNP?

Response

1 and 2. After a search of our electronic and paper records we can find no record of @ScotPolitik being blocked or muted by Scottish Government accounts.

3. Section 17(1) of FOISA (information not held) requires the Scottish Government to notify you if it does not have the information you requested. The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for because it not responsible for social media activity by the SNP.
