1. Who is involved in the Review Group actively as well as any other external industry experts/consultees?

Membership of the Building Standards (Fire Safety) Review Panel and membership of the International sub-group can be found in the agreed minutes of the meetings (see 3 below). Dr Paul Stollard chair of the review panel met with the Scottish Branch of the Institute of Fire Engineers on 11 January 2018 to discuss fire engineering and the work of the review panel.

2. When are the next scheduled meetings and what is on the agenda?

The spring meeting of the Review panel will be held on 11 April 2018. No agenda has been set. A copy of the remit for the review can be found here:

The Building Standards (Fire Safety) Review Panel met on 27 October 2017 and the agreed minutes of the meeting can be found here:

The first meeting of the Building Standards (Fire Safety) Review Panel International Sub-Group took place on 14 November 2017. It was agreed that the role of the international sub-group should be to review the work of the Review Panel in order to provide critical challenge and international perspectives. Agreed minutes of the first meeting of the International sub-group can be found here:

The second meeting of the Review Panel and International sub-group met on 17 January and 8 February 2018 respectively and minutes of those meeting will be available on the Ministerial Working Group Website once agreed by members.
