1. How long has the practice of quarterly meetings between the Law Society of Scotland been in place for.

2. What records of the discussions at the meetings have been kept, and by whom.

3. Are the records of the meetings made public.

Response

Quarterly meetings have been held between the Law Society of Scotland and Scottish Ministers for around 6 years. A record of the key action points from the meeting are produced by Access to Justice policy officials. The record of the meetings are not published by the Scottish Government.
