This document provides a step by step guide for Scottish Government and Agencies, including Transport Scotland on the process for consideration by Scottish Ministers of Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPO) where the confirmation is governed by the Acquisition of Land (Authorisation Procedure) (Scotland) Act 1947, as amended and the Compulsory Purchase of Land (Scotland) Regulations 2003.
