Information concerning the South West Scotland Transport Study to be undertaken in 2018, will it have a particular focus upon the trunk road connectivity to the port of Cairnryan, the terms of reference of the study, whether the study consultants will be required to drive along the A75 and the reporting timetable for the study.
Most of the information you have requested is available from the South West Scotland Tranport Study services brief published on Transport Scotland's website in November 2017. I have included a link below.
It is expected that a draft Initial Appraisal: Case for Change report will be produced by winter 2018.
The brief does not specify the survey requirements as this will be developed through the inception phase of the study. https://www.transport.gov.scot/media/41383/latis-lot-2-sw-scotland-transport-study-itt-as-issued.pdf
