Information requested
A list of the meeting dates and locations that Cabinet Secretary Fergus Ewing has had with the Confederation of British industry in 2016 and 2017.
I also request a copy of all background notes and/or briefings provided to the Cabinet Secretary with regard to meetings with the CBI.
In addition, and again under Freedom of Information legislation, I ask for a copy of any minutes and notes taken during or subsequent to these meetings.'
Response
Our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are able to provide details of 3 meetings between Mr Ewing and the Confederation of British Industry held during 2016 and 2017. Details are contained in the table attached in Annex 0.1.
