Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
Information requested
All written communications, and dates and minutes/notes from meetings that mention Scottish Government guidance related to ensuring policy makers and service providers being able to collectively realise trans and women's rights.
You also asked for any draft copies of this guidance, and any communication regarding the expected date of publication.
Response
We have interpreted the request as a request for all information to do with ‘Trans Inclusion Guidance’ such as ‘Trans and Women’s Rights Guidance’.
The approach to gathering information for response consisted of gathering information from database searches (information related to ‘Trans Inclusion Guidance’ from official SG databases, and email inbox checks of all relevant officials across Government).
Some of the information you have requested is available from Services, Public functions and Associations: Statutory Code of Practice | Equality and Human Rights Commission (equalityhumanrights.com). Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.
