As a condition of funding were the recruitment procedures, in particular concerning equality, diversity and inclusion, stipulated by the Scottish Government, followed by the National Mining Museum Scotland Trust in their 2023 Trustee recruitment process?

To whom is the Chair of the National Mining Museum Scotland Trust accountable to?

Regarding your first point, the Scottish Government has provided funding of £463,000 per annum to the National Mining Museum Scotland from 2019 to 2023.

Regarding your second point, as a condition of Scottish Government grant payments, organisations are asked to commit to Fair Work First criteria including action to tackle the gender pay gap and create a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
