In reference to the court case known as The Scottish Ministers v The Scottish Information Commissioner (case reference number XA10/23) what were the Scottish Governments legal costs associated with defending this case which they lost?

Response

The answer to your question is that the total cost incurred to date is £25,000 plus £5,000 VAT. These costs relate to the securing of external legal advice and representation in court from external counsel. These costs were met by the Scottish Government.
