Initial teacher education: content analysis 2017

This report is the first attempt to understand the way in which initial teacher education (ITE) providers support student teachers to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes required to be a 21st century teacher in Scotland.

It provides a baseline study of evidence of one area of the ITE provision, i.e. the number of hours dedicated to each key area of literacy, numeracy, health and wellbeing, equality and data literacy.
